Our Mission
At Mantua, we believe every child deserves to feel connected, encouraged, and inspired. The PTA works to build a welcoming school community where all students and families feel like they belong.
What We Do
We organize the extras that make school special—family events, after-school programs, classroom support, and more. If it brings joy, connection, or opportunity to our students, chances are the PTA is behind it!
Get Involved
Join the PTA, volunteer when you can, or simply take part in events—every bit of involvement matters. Your support helps fund programs, resources, and experiences that directly benefit our students and staff.
Mantua Talent Show
Do you play an instrument, sing, or dance? Do you like to perform magic? Do you want to demonstrate your martial arts prowess? Then why not enter this year’s talent show?

2026 Mantua ES Read-A-Thon
Online Platform for Fundraising and Minute Tracking
February 23 - March 6
The Mantua Elementary School PTA is hosting its fifth annual Read-a-Thon from Monday, February 23rd through Friday, March 6th. Find out more here about donations and tracking minutes reading daily. We recommend setting a goal of 200 minutes over the 2 weeks! Minutes must be recorded in 99Pledges tracker no later than Saturday, March 7th to be eligible for prizes. Donations help pay for student programs, additional support for classrooms, technology, and more! This is always a great fundraiser for Mantua, and we appreciate all of your support for all that we are able to provide to the school. We'd love to hit our goal of $25,000 and also see all Mantua kids reading. Please check with your employer to see if they offer Corporate Matching. Questions? Contact readathon@mantuapta.org
What counts as reading minutes? Everyone reads at a different level, so pretty much anything counts! If your teacher reads to you, count those minutes. If a parent reads to you, count those minutes. Books can be chapter books, picture books, audiobooks, or graphic novels--anything that is a book and encourages reading and exploration!
Class Prizes: The class that reads the most total minutes (Pre-K to 3rd grade and 4th-6th grade) will receive a $150 Gift Card for purchasing and replenishing books in the classroom! The class in each grade (Pre-K-6) who reads the most minutes total will win a CLASSROOM PARTY! – sponsored by Cynthia Cliff, local author
Individual Prizes: For every 60 minutes read, your student’s name will be entered into a raffle to receive one of these prizes:

Help Restock Mantua ES's Family Food Pantry
Hello Mantua Families! Our PTA is helping Mantua Elementary restock its Family Food Pantry. If you can, please consider donating a few items off of our "Canned Proteins" and "Pantry Staples" lists here.
Our PTA is also collecting grocery gift cards to be dropped off in the front office. No deadline, help when you can. Our community thanks you!
Volunteer in your child’s classroom!
Getting involved in your child’s classroom is a wonderful way to support both students and teachers. Click below to see current volunteer opportunities—each class needs Room Parents, Tuesday Folder Helpers, and Party Coordinators.
